Thanks for posting the informative article. It is always interesting to see some stats behind all the "talk." I wanted to pass on a good website that I have been using while looking at Sarasota homes for sale. It is called Property Maps and it matches up the MLS with Google Maps to make it easy to see where the properties are located. You may want to add it as a link in your site.
If its any comfort, home sales in the metro Rochester NY area aren't doing well either. Our home prices didn't spike like yours in Sarasota did, but sales are still very slow due to the loss of good-paying jobs in this areaas manufacturing moves overseas.
